As the world's leaders gather in Davos for the World Economic Forum, we ask a panel of experts to answer some of the big questions about energy and consumption in 2006. This is the first in the new series of ‘Questions for the future’, which will focus on the issues of energy, throughout the year. In Davos, we will discuss emerging markets and what they mean for energy consumption and energy supply. As the world's consumers hold ever higher expectations, how will the world meet those demands? Which countries will lead this rush for consumption? And will we see new and different types of energy alliances forged in order to increase the world's energy supply? |
